Buzzard Lodge

The Buzzard is a beautifully equipped, 2 bedroom lodge offering warm and cozy accommodations for up to 4 people and has one of the best sensational views on the Portnellan Estate. Positioned on the hillside with unrestricted views across Glen Dochart, Loch Iubhair (pronounced Ewar) and the surrounding countryside. The mountains of Ben More and Stob Binnein tower from the lodge garden immediately to the South. The open plan kitchen and dining area is equipped with a fitted kitchen, dining table and chairs. The kitchen offers a separate fridge and freezer, oven, ceramic hob and a microwave. The lodge is equipped with a washing machine, dishwasher and a Nespresso coffee machine. Full crockery, cutlery and cooking utensils are all provided. The bedrooms have 2000 spring pocket sprung hotel grade mattresses on a king size bed with private bathroom, bath with shower over and the second bedroom has 2 full size single beds with en-suite shower room. The living room features a large sumptuous Duresta sofa and chair. Leading from the living area you exit the lodge onto a wrap around decking where you can sit in peace and tranquility savoring the truly magical Highland view while enjoying the red squirrels and birds play tirelessly on the estate feeders. Full Egyptian Cotton bed linen, Scottish Soap Co toiletries, towels are all provided. Hypoallergenic duvets are available upon request. Special features include a flat screen TV with SKY channels and a Blu-ray DVD player. There is free Starlink WiFi, free use of row boats, kayaks as well as paddle board hire is all available. A wee on site visitor shop offers local produce for sale, maps and information on the local area. There is a BBQ hutte available to hire which is fantastic for a real flame BBQ experience with friends and/or family. There is a games room on site with table tennis, pool table, table football and a wee gym.
