Full room description
One of only 23 carriages built between 1882 and 1886, and the only one now in private ownership, this beautifully restored carriage was once a First Class carriage travelling the Melbourne – Ballarat – Bendigo Goldfields railway line. Today it offers a unique stay combining historic character with modern comfort. Step outside onto the private deck with table and chairs overlooking the orchard, the perfect place to relax and enjoy alfresco dining in the peaceful surroundings of the property. Room features • Double bed in separate bedroom (approx. 11 sqm) • Private ensuite bathroom with shower • Kitchen / dining area (approx. 6 sqm) • Hotplates, microwave, refrigerator & tea/coffee facilities • Reverse-cycle air conditioning • Private outdoor deck overlooking the orchard Maximum occupancy: Adults - 2 guests Child - Todlers - Welcome to stay with the understanding only 1 Double bed stay. (NO EXTRA BED) Please note this room is designed for one couple only, with no provision for additional bedding & no TV. Place to Pause - Glass House Ecolodge NOT A PET ROOM - ONLY our Bungalows are for Pets.
