Built around 1863-1865, the 3-star Hotel La Couronne is the oldest hotel complex in the Valley of Chamonix (in Argentière) still operating today. Steeped in mountain hotel tradition, it is located on the Tour du Mont-Blanc, at the crossroads of two ski areas and close to hiking trails. 69 rooms: 45 refurbished in the historic building and 24 in the new extension.
